Maria Fabiola Caceres Pena, departmental education secretariat calls of warning citizens in general so be informed and ask broadly, before enrolling in non-official educational institutions (private) of formal education, adult education and education for work and human development.

The recommendation arises against the large number of complaints received about the distribution of leaflets circulating in the streets of several municipalities of the Department, with misleading advertising, offering academic and technical programs that do not have license of operation or recognition of accreditation of studies to operate and that can be framed as scam, fraud or improper payments, among other crimes.

Cáceres Peña explained that for the creation of an establishment private education should be according to stipulated regulatory conditions, that are requested for the Secretariat of education authorizes the opening and operation through a license to operate.

He also said that from the Area of inspection and surveillance of the entity they are collecting evidence, doing a thorough follow-up to debug and control settlements that are committing crimes, hurting the community concerned in form, as granted titles do not have any validity.

"If you have knowledge of a property that is operating without any license and is providing a service of irregular shape, I invite you to report to the authorities. The Secretariat can request information about the legitimacy of the institutions of the Department", said the Secretary.
