MISSION

Serve to them organizations sports of the Department through them resources technological, physical, human and financial, in its purpose of plan and foster it education physical, it recreation and the sport, keeping the spirit of the science, the technology and the knowledge in the sport, it medicine sports, it computer, it construction of scenarios sports, it implementation of them systems of management that allow a growth and development of the entity.

VISION

Indenorte will be the institution which will lead to changes in the sector, promote high participation and coordination between national and international sports and will constitute the Advisory of the departmental system of sport and recreation, in order to promote adequate psycho of the population development and our athletes.

OBJECTIVES

Promote and consolidate the development of recreation and recreational sport.
Supporting physical education and extra curricular.
Promote and consolidate the dissemination and practice of student and school, sports through the educational Sector games and sports training schools.
Promote and consolidate the growth of associated sport and high performance.
Support the promotion of recreation, sport and the use of leisure time in the Department.
Development and adaptation of the infrastructure of the municipalities of the Department.

FUNCTIONS

Stimulate citizen participation and functional integration in terms of the Constitution, this law, and more rules that govern them.
Coordinate and develop programmes and activities that promote the practice of sport, recreation and use of leisure time in the departmental territory.
Provide technical and administrative assistance to municipalities and other entities of the national sport system in the Department of Norte de Santander.
Propose and approve in its jurisdiction the departmental plan for the development of the sport, recreation and use of leisure time.
Participate in the elaboration and implementation of projects for co-financing on the construction, expansion and upgrading of sports facilities of the municipalities.
Promoting, disseminating and promoting the practice of physical education, sport and recreation in the territory of the Department.
Cooperate with municipalities and sports and recreational entities in the promotion and dissemination of physical activity, sport and recreation and cater their financing in accordance with plans and programs presenting those.
Encourage the participation of people with physical, sensory and mental limitations in sporting, recreational, physical education and use of leisure time programs, guiding them to their rehabilitation and social integration.
Adopt the necessary measures to facilitate the technical training into the educational system and full social and professional integration of the athletes of high performance during his career and end.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

SPORT TRAINING AND USE OF LEISURE TIME:

• SPORTS TRAINING SCHOOLS: Technical assistance for the creation, strengthening and operation of schools of sports training in 25 municipalities in the Department.

SECOND PEACE LABORATORY:

• SPORTS TRAINING SCHOOLS: Technical assistance for the creation, strengthening and operation of schools of sports training in 15 municipalities of the Department focused on the II peace laboratory.

FORTALECERÁN GAMES:

• INTRAMURAL and MUNICIPAL PHASE: February to may.

• ZONAL PHASE BY SUBREGION: June to July.

• DEPARTMENTAL FINAL PHASE: August.

• NATIONAL ZONAL PHASE: September.

• NATIONAL FINAL: October.

ASSOCIATE AND HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT:

Technical assistance, medical, psychological, physiotherapeutic and nutritional support for the preparation and participation of athletes that make up the selected Department in national official calendar of the different sports events and Championships.

NATIONAL 2008 GAMES:

Preparation and design of strategies to ensure that selected athletes to attend and represent the Department in the conventional national games which take place in Cali, Buenaventura and San Andres from November 23 to December 07, 2008 and National Paralympic Games in Cali on 23 October to 01 November 2008.

SUPPORT HIGH-PERFORMANCE ATHLETES:

Support and incentives for outstanding athletes and talent with benefits that promote sports development.

DISABILITY SPORT:

COMMUNITY SOCIAL RECREATIONAL SPORT:

• ANOTHER REASON TO LIVE "NEW BEGINNING", participation of the elderly in the sport, recreation and physical activity for the improvement of the quality of life.

• PEACE SPORTS GAMES, bringing together all the farming communities of the Department through this event sports and recreation. During the year 2008 there will be the promotion of this event which will be held every two years from 2009.

• HOLIDAY RECREODEPORTIVAS, program aimed at children from 6 to 14 years enabling them to constructively leverage your time.
